In 2006 a group of friends, all professional singers and musicians, decided to create a website to let people know about us. Some of us had been Conservatory classmates, spread out due to work commitments; others had met up in the course of our musical trajectories after finishing our studies.
We had experience in opera, concerts and gigs various; we knew how to set up a website and manage it. Thus “Music as a Present” was born. A few years later, this sizable family has grown, adding more groups and professionals in other styles. We have an office in Barcelona and clients who repeat with us.
But the spirit of the early years remains: we offer our art, our music; the professional musician works in fair conditions; and the audience delights in a job well done. The utmost complicity exists between client and artist because there are no intermediaries. And every effort is made to tailor the selections to that client’s occasion, always counseling out of the wisdom and experience of a life dedicated to music.
Our heartfelt thanks to all those who believed in us and helped us enter this new stage: new image, additional musicians, but in essence, as always, Music as a Present/Música de Regalo.
